· Describe the revenue drivers
you currently include in your business concept for this class. Revenue drivers
are the different ways you make money.
o
The main revenue driver of my application is the overall purchase of
the application. Additionally, advertisement could be another factor and
possibly purchases from with the application, for example, purchasing the
ability to have face-to-face ability.
· Describe what kind of product
offering you believe should be next. What's the next thing your customers want?
o
The “next” thing the customers (students and universities) want would
be the ability to buy and sell supplies and products for class. And possible
addition to live class time, like a live stream of the class.
· Describe how this
"next" thing will enhance your existing product/service offering.
Does it improve the user experience, does it increase customer switching costs,
does it foster customer loyalty, etc.?
o
The “next” thing would improve the experience for the online students
because they would have the ability to have access to their professors during
class time.
· Go to Amazon and try to find
a product that is similar to the one you want to offer next. Describe the
product. Include a picture of the product.
o
The closest product I could find on Amazon.com is the videoconference
systems. The product allows for the ability to interact with people via webcam
and speakers.
· What are the customer reviews
for the product? What, exactly, do customers not like about the product? What
do they like about it?
o
The customer reviews are for the most part all positive. The
customers enjoy the price and quality of the product. One critique is how the
directions were a little difficult to follow.
· Describe what
design/usability changes you'd make to the product.
o
I would implement this design into a computer program. Also, I would
make the speakers and webcams smaller.
· Describe why you think this
product would make a good addition to your current product/service offering.
o
This product implemented into my concept would allow for live
interaction between professor and student, during class.
