1. What was the
general theme or argument of the book?
Thinking, Fast and
Slow, by Daniel Kahneman general theme was rules that are wise to follow in
terms of the thought process. Daniel Kahneman suggests that when the though
process is fast the out come is generally incorrect or wrong.
2. How did the book,
in your opinion, connect with and enhance what you are learning in ENT 3003?
The job of an
entrepenuer relys on decision-making and choices . This book dives into the
ability to succeed by understand the thought process.
3. If you had to
design an exercise for this class, based on the book you read, what would that
exercise involve?
The assignment I would
create for this book would be to interview the people that you know best to
analysis what kind of thinker you are: System 1 or System 2? And reflect on the
results.
4. What was your
biggest surprise or 'aha' moment when reading the book? In other words, what did
you learn that differed most from your expectations?
The biggest ‘aha’
moment I got while reading this book is that I now understand that I, majority
of the time, am a system one thinker. Also, better known as following
intuition. I now understand that there are two ways of thinking, fast and slow.
Fast thinking isn’t the best way to think and follow “intuition”. Slow thinking
is making a deliberate decision, creative thinking, and analyzing.
