Application: STUDY GROUP
As an online student there are many obstacles when pursuing education. A disadvantage of being an online student is communication. Communication is key in education. Currently, online students really have one tool for communicating, email. I am proposing an application where students can join their course and participate in group discussions, note sharing, and for studying in general.

ReplyDeleteI think that your idea is simple, yet well thought out and will appeal to many people. The uses of the application would be for people in the same class to converse with each other for different types of things in the class. One of those things is group discussion which would help a lot of people because if they do not understand something then they can just go on to the app and ask the other students for clarification of whatever they did not understand.

As a student who has been involved with many of UF's online classes- I have a first-hand experience with how poor and inefficient communication can be. This has detrimental effects on the students and often reflects poorly on our grades, because we cannot efficiently ask our professors or peers questions about the class, or on material in general.
I truly believe that communication is a key fundamental aspect of education, and think you have a really good idea.
I am excited to hear how this works out.
