Halfway Reflection

The Principles of Entrepreneurship class is an interesting course. This course doesn’t follow the typical path of a college course. The lectures, assignments, and tasks are very different than anything you have experienced.
In order to be successful in this course you have to be relentless with the assignments. There are a lot of assignments throughout the semester and you have to stay focused.
During the semester I felt like giving up and pushing assignments to the side. However, I am focused on getting my degree and pursuing my goals. Therefore, I decided that this class would not stop me. Moreover, I would not say that this class developed my tenacity, but I will say this class made me use it.
Three tips for surviving this class: (1) Have an outlet (2) be relentless (3) stay focused.

  1. Kyle,

I agree that this class is unlike any others. It does seem easy to try to put things off sometimes, but then you realize there is so much you really should not be doing that! What do you mean "an outlet"?

  2. Kyle,
I agree with a lot of what you have to say about this class. It really is unique. I think that this class has more assignments than any other class I have taken at UF so I agree that there is definitely a need to be relentless with this class. I also feel the same way with regards to tenacity. I have always been tenacious so I would not say that this class has instilled that in me, more like I have needed to use it in order to be successful with the class.

  3. I completely agree that this class is like nothing i have ever taken before. It is a very different experience for a college class. The need for relentless is completely true I can see why someone would drop this class. I would not have thought that an outlet for this class would be necessary but everyone goes through this class differently.
